Choose a unique key in each file. Other columns are compared only when their names match exactly. Added or removed columns are reported separately and are not treated as row changes. Duplicate or blank keys stop comparison so records are never silently paired incorrectly.
Each edited field gets a report row. Added and removed records include the complete record as JSON in the relevant report cell. Unchanged records are counted, but are not included in the change export.
Supported files and limits
UTF-8 CSV or TSV with one header row; comma, semicolon or tab separators; quoted separators, escaped quotes and multiline fields. This is a text comparison utility. It does not calculate prices, convert currencies, merge files, update your shop, read XLSX files, or reconcile accounting balances. Export your spreadsheet as UTF-8 CSV first. Keep backups and check results before making business changes.
Privacy and AI disclosure
The comparison runs in this browser. File contents are held in memory and are not uploaded, stored in browser storage, or sent to an AI model. Clear files or close the page when finished. Browser extensions and downloaded exports are outside the tool’s control. A hosted preview provider may process ordinary page-request metadata under its own privacy policy.
This software and its documentation were developed with AI assistance. The comparison itself uses deterministic code, not an AI model. No claim of human authorship or professional advice is made.
